This would be an amazing prop to have as a replica.

Rob, do you know how the original was lit up?
It looks as though it was made from yellow transparent material
with etched symbols and painted. Did you have any plans on
reproducing this one? Where you ever able to take a look the screen used prop?

you have the diamond shape in the middle of the octogon a little too big.
look very carefully at the diagram rob the space between the diamond the the octagon is evenly spaced.

That looks amazing :D what are the odds that a hard drie could be fitted internally? it will be an amizing prop though either way

I dont know about that, the way I have it planned it will be solid not hollow. The only internal cut out will be for lights and batteries.
When im done milling it, Ill see how much room there is, but since all sides have engravings you would destroy one side in order to have cable connectors. That might be something you would need to modify on your own.

Im going to use cell cast acrylic because it machine the cleanest. and can be polished
